Fishing nets, eskies, thongs, bottles, toys, even a jet ski were once pulled from the ocean and lie in this plastic graveyard.

Christian Miller is a conservationist, researcher, filmmaker and director of Parley.tv Australia. He gave Mike Smith from Zero Co a tour of what we called his 'plastic graveyard' during the first leg of our Great Aussie Plastic Purge Road Trip in Port Douglas.

Ocean waste plastic items of all sorts have been pulled from the reefs of far North Queensland, and are kept in Christian's yard in the hope that an artist one day will want to use them for an installation.

Check out more from Christian over at Parley.tv.
